Summer Camp '08

Summer Camp has become a 'favorite week of the year' for many middle school students, staff, and volunteers, as well as for many parents! It is an opportunity for students to connect with others-deepening existing relationships and developing new ones. Removed from the distractions of everyday life, it is also a great time to take a look at their walk with Christ and strengthen their relationship with him. Not to mention it is simply a blast! As a youth pastor, I can not over-emphasize the value of camp and the potential impact it has on a student's life.

This will be our sixth year taking a group to Forest Home at Ojai Valley. Ojai Valley is a phenomenal camp with a great facility, excellent staff, and even the food is not that bad. To find out more go to: This Webpage.

We will be leaving by charter bus on Sunday, July 6th and returning Friday, July 11th. For students going into 7th grade at EastLake Middle School, a private middle school orientation will be held the following Saturday morning by teacher and EastLake parent, Mrs. Emma Lagos.

To register for camp, simply print off, and fill out the Camp Registration, Medical Consent, and Special Needs (if necessary) forms and return them with deposit to seventyeight on the weekend or the church office during the week. Space is limited!
